Dan Abrams has signed a new multi-year deal with NewsNation, in which he will continue to host its primetime Dan Abrams Live.
Abrams launched the 9 p.m. ET show on Sept. 27, 2021. He continues to serve as CEO of Abrams Media, which produces Mediaite.com, the Law&Crime Network and WhiskeyRaiders.com. He’s also the chief legal affairs analyst for ABC News and the host of a show for SiriusXM Radio and executive producer of On Patrol: Live for Reelz and Court Cam and Taking the Stand for A&E.
In a statement, Abrams said that NewsNation “has been one of those rare professional experiences where everything has been as promised. Every story we cover, every angle I take, comes from my team and me and that makes it fun, challenging and fulfilling.”
Sean Compton, president of Nexstar Networks, said that they are “pleased that he will remain at NewsNation as we continue to build a premier cable news network with a distinct mission of fair and unbiased news reporting.”
Meanwhile, NewsNation on Tuesday night will present Chris Cuomo’s interview with California Governor Gavin Newsom.
