Former New York congressman George Santos is expected to plead guilty in his wide-ranging fraud case, according to US media reports.
Santos, who became the first member of Congress to be expelled in more than 20 years, is facing 23 federal charges that allege fraud and the misuse of campaign funds.
He had pleaded not guilty last year.
Santos is expected to appear in court on Monday in Central Islip, New York and change that plea, a person familiar with the matter told CBS News, the BBC’s US news partner.
