Interested and eligible candidates can participate in walk-in interview, which will be conducted on May 10 and 17, 2021.
The contractual employment will be for a period of three years only or till regular incumbent joins whichever is earlier or he/she reaches 70 years of age.

However, the initial contractual appointment will be for three years which may be extended by the ITBP for further two years on year to year basis subject to the maximum age limit of 70 years. Candidates should note that the services of the appointee are also terminable before expiry of the contractual period by either side after giving one month notice or salary in lieu thereof.
The selection is purely contractual in nature and does not carry any right for regularization or permanent absorption.
No TA/DA is admissible for the interview. Suitable and willing candidates may walk-in for interview on the date and time at any of the given venues along with the original and photocopies of all relevant documents (like graduate and postgraduate degree, age proof, internship completion certificate and experience certificate etc) and application in plain paper superscripting the name of the post applied for with minimum 3 choices for place of posting in order of preferences and 5 passport size photographs.

ITBP Recruitment 2021: Qualification
1. Medical degree from a recognized university
2. Post-Graduation degree/diploma in the specialty
3. Minimum 1.5 years of experience for post-graduate degree holder / Minimum 2.5 years of experience for diploma holder
For General Medical Duty Officers
A recognized medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or part 2 of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act 1956. Holders of the educational qualifications included in Part 2 or third schedules should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in a subsection of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. The candidate must have also completed a rotating internship.
