PM Modi announces Rs 2 Lakh for kin of deceased, Rs 50K for injured in Tripura flood
Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha announced on Friday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approved ex-gratia relief from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund (PMNRF), granting ₹2 lakh to the families of those who lost their lives in the floods and ₹50,000 to those who were seriously injured.
Cyclone Asna to move West-Northwest away from Indian Coast in 24 hours
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a warning on Saturday regarding Cyclone Asna, a deep depression over the Arabian Sea causing heavy rains in Gujarat.
