Under the aegis of Tasty Tales and in association with Oakridge’s food partner Sodexo, this special session brought along a sensory exploration experience to young students.

Junior Oakridge students spent an exciting hour learning about foreign cuisine from the Chef while thoroughly enjoying the interactive and energetic session. A few of them also offered their services as volunteers, learning how to prepare with the renowned Chef firsthand.

The Head of Early Years, Ritu Agarwal, who was overjoyed witnessing the euphoria among the little learners said, “This was quite an enthralling experience for our students. Exposing young learners to culinary skills helps them develop social, emotional, and creative thinking skills. It also makes them more organized and trains them in following instructions cognitively.”

The school also hosted a special Mexican food gala for its staff and students curated by the celebrity chef. The lunch was a hit among the attendees, with each counter thoughtfully decorated and the food tickling their taste buds. “The food fiesta with the renowned chef certainly added a lot of enthusiasm on the campus” added Ritu.
