Ranbir Kapoor talks about his labour room experience with Alia Bhatt when Raha was born, here’s how Kareena Kapoor Khan reacts! | Hindi Movie News


Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt who got married in April 2022, became proud parents to a beautiful baby girl in November 2022. The couple named her Raha Kapoor and literally she seems to be having all their attention at the moment. They’re quite protective of her as parents and it’s quite a delight for fans to see that Ranbir is such a doting father. His fans love to see that side to him, when he just can’t stop gushing over his daughter and new-found fatherhood.
Recently, when Ranbir appeared on cousin Kareena Kapoor Khan’s show, ‘What Women Want’, he spoke about Raha, Alia and his fatherhood experiences so far. When asked how he would rate him self between 1 to 7, 7 being the highest, the rated himself the perfect 7 for being the father he is. He was asked about his experience in the labour room and what he felt when he held his daughter for the first time. Ranbir said, “I got the opportunity to hold her the moment she was born after her umbilical cord was cut and that moment will be etched in the core memory of my life. To witness her and Alia together for the first time when Alia held her close to her neck and chest – that was also a very magical moment for me.”

The actor further revealed he stayed with Alia in the hospital for a week. “I was very good in the labour room. I had taken a sabbatical from work two-three months prior to her delivery and stayed in the hospital for a week.” Kareena reacted to that and said, “I would say you’re a lovely husband, Saif wouldn’t stay one night with me in the hospital.” Ranbir laughed, “I don’t think Alia would say that but I consider myself a good husband.”
Ranbir also spoke about his reaction when he got to know about Alia’s pregnancy, he shared, “It was delightful. There was no other emotion except for excitement.” Ranbir also shared that they’ve had many sleepless nights. “We have a good amount of help, yet still for the first two months atleast, we had a lot of sleepless nights because when you have the excitement of your first child and she is sleeping between us in bed, you’re alert even with just a little bit of movement,” shared Ranbir.

On work front, Ranbir’s film ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’ released on March 8 and is holding steady at the box office at the moment. The film also stars Shraddha Kapoor in the lead role along with Boney Kapoor and Dimple Kapadia.

Ranbir Kapoor also has Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Animal’ in the pipeline, co-starring Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol.
