A bunch of college students were forced to get a haircut by police in Tamil Nadu’s Chidambaram, raising concerns over moral policing. The action was taken by a police team who were on patrol duty.

Teens around the Chidambaram bus stand were stopped by police to “check the length” of hair. According to students, the police forced them to cut their hair.

In a video, a student was seen telling the cops that he just had a haircut, but still the cops did not budge.

The cops faced criticism on social media when the video of the incident went viral.
