Yesteryear actress Mala Sinha’s iconic bungalow gets sold; veteran actress to occupy two floors in the 22-storey building on its land – Exclusive | Hindi Movie News

If you don’t know Mala Sinha’s house in Bandra, you don’t know Mumbai’s Bandra area adequately. But the Turner Road bungalow has disappeared.
ETimes has it that the bungalow was brought down by the builder Varun Kothari, a few months back. And now, a 22-storey tower called Palmera is being built on the same land. We don’t know if it’s a Joint Venture between Varun Kothari and Mala Sinha, but kaam zor shor se chal raha hai. Sources say that the building would be ready in 3.5 to 4 years.

We further hear that Mala Sinha’s family will get two floors in the building. Mala Sinha’s daughter Pratibha is a regular visitor, say at a gap of 2/3 days, to monitor the work in progress in terms of quality and quantity.
For now, Mala Sinha has shifted to a flat in Bandra.
All said and done, “All the residents of Palmera are looking forward to this building getting completed soon. It’s at a prime location in Bandra and none of them wants to shift long distance,” the source added.
