IndiGo issues a new travel advisory as Middle East tensions ease, announcing the cautious and phased resumption of flights as airports in the region begin to reopen.

Flights Resume in Qatar After Temporary Airspace Shutdown Amid Iranian Missile Strikes
Several flights have resumed in Qatar after the country reopened its airspace on Tuesday, following a temporary closure. The disruption occurred on Monday when Iran launched multiple missile attacks targeting U.S. military installations in the region, including Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar — the largest U.S. military facility in the Middle East.
Following an earlier announcement by the Qatari Foreign Ministry regarding a temporary closure of its airspace, Qatar has now reopened its skies as of Tuesday. In response to this development, several airlines have issued updated travel advisories for passengers.
“In light of the ongoing Middle East crisis, IndiGo has issued a fresh advisory. As airports in the region begin to reopen, we are cautiously and gradually resuming our operations on affected routes to ensure passenger safety and operational efficiency,” the airline said.
We are closely monitoring the situation and carefully evaluating the safest possible flight paths to ensure secure and smooth travel for our passengers. For the latest updates, please refer to our mobile app or official website. We sincerely appreciate your continued trust and understanding.”
