Kyiv officials have pushed back against recent claims made by former U.S. President Donald Trump, who alleged that Ukrainian soldiers are encircled by Russian forces in the Russian city of Kursk. The statement, which sparked confusion and concern, prompted a swift response from Ukrainian authorities clarifying the situation on the ground.
During a public event, Trump suggested that Ukrainian troops were facing dire circumstances in Kursk, a Russian city near the Ukrainian border.
