This Holi, amid vibrant clouds of gulaal and the echo of dhol beats, a different kind of color burst through the lanes of Makaipur village — the color of young love.
Sanjeet, a local youth known for his trending reels and sharp style, had been quietly exchanging hearts and hashtags with Lado, a girl from a nearby tola. Their love story, sparked in the digital corridors of Instagram, found its real-world moment on the day of Holi.
According to villagers, the two had planned to meet during the festivities — a clever move,Vinod considering everyone was too busy playing with colors to notice young couples sneaking glances. But as fate would have it, Sanjeet and Lado were spotted near the village chowk, covered in hues of pink and yellow, their chemistry as bright as their faces.

“Arre, Holi hai bhai! Aaj ke din toh rang sab pe barabar girta hai — pyaar ka bhi!” said an elderly villager with a wink.
Soon, what could’ve turned into a scandal transformed into a celebration. Friends of Sanjeet started playing dhol, and someone even joked, “Shadi kab hai?” A few aunties teased Lado as she tried to hide her blush beneath the color. Even the pradhan gave a sporting nod, muttering something about “nayi soch” and “digital zamaana.”
