Meerut, Uttar Pradesh – In a chilling case that has left the city in shock, a woman allegedly murdered her husband with the help of her lover and then went on to celebrate Holi as if nothing had happened. The accused, Muskan Rastogi, along with her boyfriend Sahil Shukla, has been arrested by the police.
According to reports, the victim, Saurabh Rajput, was found dead under suspicious circumstances. Investigations revealed that his wife, Muskan, conspired with Sahil to eliminate him. After committing the crime, the duo proceeded to celebrate the festival of colors, indulging in festivities without raising any suspicion.Meerut
The police became suspicious when inconsistencies emerged in Muskan’s statements. A deeper probe led to the shocking discovery of her involvement in the crime. Upon interrogation, she reportedly confessed to planning the murder along with Sahil.
Sources suggest that Muskan and Sahil were in a relationship, and Saurabh’s presence was an obstacle for them. Seeking a way to be together, they allegedly planned and executed the gruesome murder before stepping out to enjoy Holi, as if nothing had happened.
Authorities have taken both accused into custody and are further investigating the case. Evidence such as call records, CCTV footage, and witness statements are being examined to build a strong case.Meerut
