Operation Sindoor: Profiles of 5 Key Terrorists Eliminated, Pakistan’s Military Presence at Funerals Raises Eyebrows
New Delhi: Five high-ranking terrorists affiliated with Pakistan-based terror groups Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) were killed during the initial phase of Operation Sindoor, an Indian military operation targeting terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (POK) on May 7.
The terrorists — Mudassar Khadian Khas, Hafiz Muhammed Jameel, Mohammad Yusuf Azhar, Khalid alias Abu Akasha, and Mohammad Hassan Khan — were targeted in precision strikes carried out by the Indian armed forces in response to the Pahalgam terror attack that claimed 26 civilian lives on April 22, sources said.

Operation Sindoor: India’s Strategic Response to Terrorism
The Indian armed forces launched Operation Sindoor targeting nine terror camps in Pakistan and POK, marking one of the most comprehensive military responses to cross-border terrorism in recent years.
The operation, which began in the early hours of May 7, included strikes on terror training camps in Muzaffarabad, Bahawalpur, and Gulpur, among other locations. The action was in direct retaliation for the Pahalgam terror attack, which India has attributed to Pakistan-based terror outfits.
India’s Response and Global Outreach
India has shared evidence of Pakistan’s complicity in the Pahalgam attack with international partners, highlighting the presence of senior Pakistani military personnel at the funerals of known terrorists. Indian officials assert that these images provide further proof of Pakistan’s state support for terrorist organizations operating within its borders.
