Mumbai woman accuses MNS leader’s drunk son of crashing into her car and hurling abuses; incident caught on camera. Watch video.
A woman in Mumbai has accused Rahil Javed Shaikh, the son of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) MNS Leader’s Javed Shaikh, of crashing into her vehicle in the Andheri area late Sunday night. She alleged that he was driving under the influence at the time of the incident.
Rajshree More, who was reportedly once a close friend of actor Rakhi Sawant, posted a video of the incident on social media platform Instagram in which Rahil appears to be in a semi-naked state, and purportedly heard using abusive language. Rahil reportedly can be heard saying, “Bh**od paishe the.”
He can also be heard saying, “My father is the state vice president of MNS.”
The video further shows the accused arguing with the police and aggressively confronting Rajshree, daring her to file a complaint. In Marathi, he says, “Go and tell the police that I’m Javed Shaikh’s son—then see what happens.”
Rajshree also shared an image of the FIR filed against the accused. She further alleged that MNS workers and supporters were targeting her due to her recent remarks about the local Marathi community and the ongoing controversy surrounding the imposition of the Marathi language.
Rajshree More has demanded strict action against Rahil Shaikh, stating that she felt threatened during the incident.
Police Statement:
“A video circulating on social media shows a shirtless man, identified as Rahil Shaikh, verbally abusing a woman named Rajshree More after his car allegedly collided with hers. Rahil Shaikh claims to be the son of MNS state vice president Javed Shaikh. The incident occurred on Vira Desai Road in Andheri West. An FIR has been registered at the Amboli police station. The accused has been detained for a medical examination, and his car has been seized for further investigation,” Mumbai Police told ANI.
Rajshree recently stirred controversy after posting a video on social media in which she made remarks about the local Maharashtrian community. In the clip, she questioned the push to enforce the use of the Marathi language among the state’s residents. She further stated that, rather than focusing on language imposition, local Marathi people should be encouraged to work harder.
MNS workers from Versova later lodged a complaint against Rajshree at the Oshiwara police station, according to News18. After the FIR was registered, Rajshree publicly apologized and removed the video.
