The Khan Family’s Temporary Residence
During Mannat’s renovation, Shah Rukh Khan and his family have temporarily moved into twin luxury duplexes in the Puja Casa building in Pali Hill. These residences, with a combined area of around 10,500 sq ft, will serve as their home for the next three years. Gauri Khan, along with their children Suhana, Aryan, and AbRam, will reside there throughout the renovation period.
Plans suggest the iconic apartment may soon expand with the addition of two extra floors. But more than its grandeur, Mannat holds a deeply personal meaning for Shah Rukh. In 2023, at the launch of Gauri’s design book, he reflected on how Gauri first became the designer of their home. He recounted:
“We bought the house… and I said, ‘Gauri, you have little artistic talent—why don’t you design the house?’ Mannat started like that. Whatever little money we earned, we kept buying small things… The training ground is what actually made her start designing.
