Panchasheel Nagar residents are raising serious concerns over their safety as a local builder allegedly fails to adhere to the terms of an agreement meant to ensure the well-being of the community. The builder, who had promised proper infrastructure and security measures, has reportedly ignored multiple commitments, leaving residents frustrated and fearful.

According to the residents, the builder initially assured them of well-maintained roads, proper drainage, security provisions, and a designated green space within the housing society. However, as time passed, these commitments remained unfulfilled. The roads are in a dilapidated state, drainage issues persist, and the promised security arrangements are non-existent. Moreover, the open spaces earmarked for parks have been allegedly encroached upon for commercial development.

“We invested our life savings in these homes, believing we would get a safe and secure environment. But instead, we are dealing with broken promises and serious safety concerns,” said Ramesh Sharma, a resident. Several other homeowners have echoed similar grievances, expressing their dissatisfaction over the builder’s failure to provide basic amenities.

One of the most pressing issues is the lack of security within the residential complex. With no functional CCTV cameras or security personnel, residents fear an increase in thefts and other criminal activities. Some allege that unauthorized individuals have been frequently entering the premises, heightening concerns about personal safety and property security.

Frustrated with the builder’s inaction, residents have begun considering legal options to hold them accountable. Panchasheel

A group of homeowners has approached local authorities, urging them to intervene and ensure that the builder fulfills the promised commitments. “We will not remain silent. If necessary, we will take legal action to protect our rights,” stated Priya Mehta, another affected resident.

Municipal officials have acknowledged receiving complaints and assured residents that they will look into the matter. “We have received several grievances regarding this issue and will conduct an inspection soon. If violations are found, appropriate action will be taken against the builder,” said an official from the local municipal office.

The residents of Panchasheel Nagar are determined to hold the builder accountable for breaching the agreement and neglecting their concerns. Until their demands for basic safety and infrastructure are met, they vow to continue their fight for justice.Panchasheel

With growing pressure from residents and authorities now involved, it remains to be seen how the builder will respond to the mounting concerns. For now, the people of Panchasheel Nagar remain anxious but resolute in their pursuit of a safer living environment.
