In a heart-wrenching incident from Maharashtra’s Dharashiv city, a 20-year-old college student, Varsha Kharat, died after collapsing during a speech at a college event. The tragic episode occurred at Maharshi Guruvarya RG Shinde Mahavidyalaya, located in Paranda taluka.
According to sources, Varsha was addressing the audience in Marathi when the unfortunate event unfolded. A video of the incident, which has now gone viral on social media, shows her confidently delivering the speech. At one point, both she and the audience burst into laughter. However, her speech gradually slows down, and moments later, she collapses to the ground. Shocked audience members quickly rushed to her aid.
She was immediately taken to a nearby hospital but was declared dead by the doctors upon arrival. The exact date of the incident is yet to be confirmed.
