New Delhi, April 7 — A day meant for joy and celebration turned tragic at an amusement park in South West Delhi’s Kapashera area, where a young woman lost her life due to a suspected ride malfunction.
According to preliminary reports, the incident occurred on Sunday afternoon when the victim, identified as a woman in her early twenties, was riding a high-speed amusement ride with friends. Eyewitnesses say the ride suddenly jerked violently and appeared to lose control mid-operation. The woman was reportedly thrown off or struck with significant force, resulting in critical injuries.
Emergency services were called to the scene immediately, and the victim was rushed to a nearby hospital. Despite efforts to save her, doctors declared her brought dead. Her identity is being withheld until her family is notified.
