Lucknow: In a shocking incident that has raised serious concerns about vehicle security in the city, a scooty was stolen in broad daylight by a thief who managed to break its lock and flee within seconds. The entire incident was caught on CCTV, and the footage is now being circulated widely, drawing attention to the growing issue of two-wheeler thefts in Lucknow.
The theft took place in a busy residential area during the afternoon hours when the streets were relatively quiet. The CCTV footage shows a man approaching the parked scooty, looking around briefly before swiftly breaking the lock. Within moments, he starts the vehicle and rides away, leaving no time for anyone to react.
Local residents were shocked by the brazenness of the crime. “It happened in the middle of the day, right outside our homes. If this can happen so easily in broad daylight, it’s very concerning,” said a resident of the area. Lucknow
