In a plot twist that sounds straight out of a college rom-com, a student from OP Jindal Global University recently made headlines (and raised eyebrows) after attempting to sneak his girlfriend into the boys’ hostel—inside a suitcase.
Yes, you read that right.
According to campus sources, the student had devised what he thought was the perfect plan to bypass hostel security. He placed his girlfriend—willingly, we hope—inside a large suitcase and rolled her in like a piece of checked baggage on a mission of love. For a while, everything seemed to be going according to plan. Security guards barely blinked as the student wheeled his hefty luggage past the hostel entrance.
But love, as they say, is a bumpy ride.
The moment of truth came when the suitcase hit a speed bump—literally. As the bag thudded on the ground, it let out a very unmistakable human scream. That’s when security stopped the student and asked him to unzip his luggage. What followed was a bizarre, now-viral moment: a young woman emerged from the suitcase, looking understandably disoriented and slightly squashed.
Hostel authorities and security were left stunned, as were the many onlookers who had gathered during the commotion. The student has since been summoned for disciplinary action, and the university is reportedly reviewing hostel protocols.
