A major fire broke out earlier today at Crystal Tower, a prominent high-rise located along the Western Express Highway in Andheri East, Mumbai. Thick plumes of black smoke were seen billowing from the upper floors of the building, sending panic across the area and causing significant traffic disruption on the busy highway.

Visuals of the blaze quickly spread across social media, showing flames engulfing several floors as firefighters rushed to the scene. Multiple fire tenders were deployed, and efforts to control the fire continued for several hours. According to preliminary reports, the fire is believed to have started in one of the upper floors, though the exact cause remains unknown.
Residents and occupants of the building were safely evacuated, and no casualties have been reported so far. The Mumbai Fire Brigade confirmed that the fire was classified as a Level 2 blaze and that cooling operations are currently underway to prevent a potential re-ignition.
