Based on the book The Case That Shook the Empire by Raghu Palat and Pushpa Palat, the film delves into the 1919 Jallianwala Bagh massacre and focuses on C. Sankaran Nair’s legal battle against the British Raj to uncover the truth behind the incident.
Akshay Kumar stars as C. Sankaran Nair, with R. Madhavan portraying Advocate Neville McKinley and Ananya Panday in the role of Dilreet Gill. The ensemble cast also features Regina Cassandra, Simon Paisley Day, and Alexx O’Nell in key roles.
