In a disturbing incident from Srinagar, a delivery boy was violently attacked while attempting to complete a routine parcel delivery. The altercation occurred after the delivery personnel asked to leave a prepaid parcel at a nearby shop, as instructed by the recipient’s son.
According to eyewitnesses, the delivery agent had arrived at the designated address to deliver a parcel. Since the recipient was unavailable at the moment, the delivery boy was told by the recipient’s son to leave the package at a local shop for later collection. However, as he attempted to follow the given instruction, an unidentified man suddenly confronted him and assaulted him with a stick, accusing him of mishandling the delivery.
The victim, whose identity is yet to be disclosed, sustained injuries in the attack and was left shaken by the sudden burst of violence. The attacker reportedly fled the scene after the incident. Locals who witnessed the assault intervened and alerted the authorities.
