Indian Navy clerk Vishal Yadav arrested in Delhi for allegedly leaking sensitive naval information to Pakistan’s ISI in exchange for money. Monitored by Rajasthan Police Intelligence Wing.
Vishal Yadav, a clerk stationed at the Naval Headquarters and a resident of Haryana, has been accused of leaking classified information related to the Indian Navy and other defense establishments. According to the report, Yadav allegedly shared this sensitive data with a female Pakistani handler over an extended period, reportedly in exchange for money. The leaks are said to have taken place over several years, including during the time of Operation Sindoor.
He was arrested by the Intelligence Wing of the Rajasthan Police after a period of surveillance.
According to NDTV, senior police officer Vishnukant Gupta confirmed that the CID Intelligence unit had been monitoring espionage activities connected to Pakistani agencies.
Data obtained from Yadav’s cellphone reportedly includes classified information that was shared with a foreign operative.
During a surveillance operation, authorities discovered that Vishal Yadav had frequent contact with a female Pakistani intelligence operative using the alias “Priya Sharma” on social media. According to officials, she allegedly provided payments to Yadav in return for sensitive and strategically important defence information, NDTV reported.
Preliminary investigations revealed that Yadav was addicted to online gaming and driven by financial distress stemming from heavy gambling losses. According to officials quoted by NDTV, he received money through both cryptocurrency trading platforms and direct transfers to his bank account.

Adav is currently under interrogation by multiple intelligence agencies at the Central Interrogation Centre in Jaipur.
In the aftermath of the Pahalgam terror attack and India’s swift retaliatory strike under Operation Sindoor, counter-intelligence efforts have intensified nationwide. Over the past month, security agencies have arrested several suspects across multiple states, including Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, and Punjab, as part of a coordinated crackdown on potential threats.
Two women have been arrested for allegedly maintaining connections with a Pakistani intelligence officer. Among them is Jyoti Malhotra, a YouTuber from Haryana who has 3.77 lakh subscribers on YouTube and 1.33 lakh followers on Instagram. The second suspect, 31-year-old Guzala from Punjab, was also reportedly in contact with the officer, identified as Ehsan-ur-Rahim, also known by the alias Danish. Rahim is believed to be an intelligence operative stationed at the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi.
