Miller’s influential book Slaves to Fashion, which explores Black dandyism and the styling of Black diasporic identity through history. The official dress code, “Tailored for You,” encouraged guests to express individuality through impeccably crafted menswear.
The event was co-chaired by icons such as Pharrell Williams, Colman Domingo, A$AP Rocky, Lewis Hamilton, and Anna Wintour, with basketball legend LeBron James serving as an honorary co-chair. Together, they celebrated a theme that committee member Usher described as “timely” and deeply rooted in cultural pride.
