In a surprising incident, the wife of a Railway Police constable was caught traveling in an air-conditioned (AC) coach despite holding a sleeper-class ticket. The matter came to light during a routine ticket inspection, raising concerns about rule violations by individuals connected to law enforcement.
According to railway authorities, the incident occurred when a ticket examiner (TTE) was conducting a standard check on board. Upon checking the woman’s ticket, it was found that she was supposed to travel in the sleeper class but had instead occupied a seat in the AC coach without proper authorization. When questioned, she reportedly attempted to justify her actions, but the railway staff insisted that she either pay the fare difference or vacate the seat.
