Late Monday, Donald Trump reignited tensions by referencing a 2011 tweet and calling for an evacuation in Tehran over alleged nuclear threats from Iran, sparking global concern.
Late Monday night, President Donald Trump called on all individuals in Tehran to evacuate immediately.

Iran should have agreed to the deal I proposed—what a tragic and unnecessary loss of life. Let me be clear once again: Iran must never be allowed to possess a nuclear weapon. I’ve repeated this warning time and time again. Immediate evacuation of Tehran is strongly advised.
As tensions in the Middle East escalate and the world braces for the possibility of a wider conflict, an old tweet from Donald Trump has resurfaced — a 2011 post in which he predicted, ‘In order to get elected, @BarackObama will start a war with Iran.
Now, 13 years later, people online are asking: “Did he actually predict his own move more than a decade in advance?”
One user remarked, “And just like that, the Democrats received their cue to turn anti-war.”
Another joked, “Do you think Iran saw this coming? LOL
Trump Leaves G7 Early Amid Escalating Middle East Crisis
Former President Donald Trump made an unexpected early exit from the G7 summit in Canada, confirmed just an hour after his post on Truth Social. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt attributed the decision to “developments unfolding in the Middle East.”
Trump’s departure came shortly after Israeli officials issued urgent evacuation warnings to residents of Tehran. The advisories affect approximately 330,000 people and cover critical infrastructure, including the national TV headquarters, police command centers, and several hospitals—among them facilities operated by Iran’s Revolutionary Guard.
Iranian officials have dismissed the evacuation orders as mere “psychological warfare.” Nevertheless, the atmosphere in Tehran — a city of 9.5 million — is tense, with fear and confusion spreading rapidly among residents.

At the same time, the G7 summit began in Canada on Sunday, with global leaders placing the Iran-Israel conflict at the forefront of discussions. However, President Trump remained noticeably vague when questioned about potential U.S. military involvement. “I don’t want to talk about that,” he told reporters.
Speaking to ABC News, Trump added, “We’re not involved in it. It’s possible we could get involved. But at this moment, we are not.” He also reportedly declined to sign a joint G7 statement calling for restraint between Iran and Israel.
INBC News and Fox News’ Lawrence Jones III later reported that former President Trump has directed the National Security Council to be prepared in the Situation Room upon his return to Washington, D.C.
