Aasif Sheikh shares that he has been advised complete bed rest following his recent collapse during the shooting of Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain.
Television actor Aasif Sheikh, best known for portraying Vibhuti Narayan Mishra in the popular show Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain, was rushed to the hospital after collapsing on set during a shoot in Dehradun. The incident occurred while Aasif was filming an intense fight sequence for the show, which reportedly took a toll on his health.

According to reports, the actor was performing a physically demanding fight sequence when he started feeling discomfort. Aasif began experiencing numbness in his foot, followed by severe sciatica pain, which worsened during the shoot.
After the collapse, Aasif was immediately given medical attention on the set before being rushed to a hospital for further evaluation. The actor’s quick medical care helped stabilize him, but his condition required additional treatment. According to a source close to the production team, Aasif was faint due to exhaustion, which likely contributed to the collapse. The source added, “He fainted on the set due to exhaustion and is doing fine now. He was quickly rushed to the doctor for proper medical attention.”
Shortly after the incident, Aasif Sheikh took to social media to share a health update with his fans and followers. In a statement, he clarified the situation and provided details about his current condition.
He said, “I was shooting for Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain at Dehradun and there I started feeling numbness in my foot and then sciatica pain made the situation worse.”
Aasif further mentioned, “I was brought on a wheelchair to Mumbai and now I have been advised complete bed rest. I landed here on the 18th and since then I am taking rest and my treatment is on. I think for one more week I will take a rest and hope I will be soon in front of the camera.”
His fans, co-stars, and the production team expressed their concern and sent well wishes for his swift recovery. Aasif assured everyone that he was getting the necessary treatment and that he was hopeful for a quick recovery. He also mentioned that he would need to rest for about a week before returning to work.
A source revealed to Zoom, “The shoot involved intense fight sequences, which took a toll on Aasif’s health. After collapsing, he was given immediate medical care and later shifted to Mumbai for further treatment.” This indicates that the fight scenes were physically demanding, and the strain on Aasif’s body led to his collapse.
