Kerala: NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) exam using a fake admit card. The admit card, which was sent through WhatsApp by a coaching centre, raised suspicions among exam officials. Upon verification, it was discovered that the admit card was not authentic, leading to the student’s disqualification from the exam.

Kerala NEET, Police have initiated an investigation following reports that a student allegedly appeared for the NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) examination using a fake admit card. Authorities are probing the authenticity of the documents and examining possible lapses in the examination process. Further details are awaited as the inquiry progresses.

The incident has sparked a debate on the growing issue of fraudulent activities associated with entrance exams. Authorities are now investigating the coaching centre involved and are taking strict measures to ensure such incidents do not occur in the future.

This serves as a reminder of the importance of verifying all documents and information before appearing for critical exams like NEET. The authorities have urged students to report any suspicious activities to avoid falling prey to such deceptive practices.

NEET UG 2025 Controversy: Student in Kerala Caught with Fake Admit Card, Police Launch Probe

NEET UG 2025

A fresh controversy has emerged in Kerala’s Thiruvananthapuram district after a student was reportedly caught appearing for the NEET UG 2025 examination using a fake admit card. The issue has triggered a police investigation amid rising concerns about security lapses in one of India’s most competitive medical entrance exams.

According to a PTI report, the student was detained on Sunday, May 4, after the exam coordinator raised a red flag over inconsistencies in the admit card, including mismatches in the name, address, and exam centre details.

The detained student has claimed that he received the admit card via WhatsApp from the operator of a local Akshaya Centre — a government-run service delivery centre. Based on his statement, police have filed an FIR and launched an inquiry to determine how the fake admit card was created and whether a wider network is involved.

This case has reignited national concerns about impersonation and exam malpractice in NEET. In 2024, multiple impersonation cases were reported across states. In Bihar’s Purnea, four medical students were arrested for writing the exam on behalf of others. Similarly, AIIMS Jodhpur suspended a third-year MBBS student for appearing as a dummy candidate in Muzaffarpur. Additional incidents of forged hall tickets and biometric mismatches were reported in Rajasthan and Maharashtra.

With NEET UG continuing to serve as a crucial gateway for aspiring medical professionals in India, this latest incident from Kerala underscores the urgent need for stricter verification mechanisms and enhanced digital security protocols during the exam process.

Kerala NEET Exam Racket in Noida, Three Arrested for Alleged Exam Manipulation

Noida, April 29, 2025 – In a major development linked to the NEET UG 2025 examination, the Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF) has busted a gang allegedly involved in rigging medical entrance exams and arrested three individuals in Noida.

According to official sources, the STF received a tip-off on May 3 about a group demanding money from the relatives of NEET UG candidates, promising to help them clear the highly competitive exam. The gang reportedly ran its operations from an office located in Sector 3, Noida, under the jurisdiction of Phase 1 Police Station.

Acting swiftly on the intelligence, STF officials conducted a raid and apprehended three suspects identified as Vikram Kumar Sah, Dharmpal Singh, and Aniket Kumar. Preliminary investigations suggest the gang had been targeting candidates and their families to extort money in exchange for manipulating exam results.

A report by PTI, citing sources from the Ministry of Education, confirmed that over 20.8 lakh candidates appeared for the NEET UG 2025 exam, which was conducted across 548 Indian cities and 14 international centres.

Authorities have launched a detailed investigation into the matter to determine the extent of the racket and whether more individuals or networks are involved.
