A heated argument erupted at a local medical dispensary when a female employee confronted the owner over unpaid wages upon her resignation. The tense exchange, which was witnessed by customers and other employees, highlighted ongoing labor disputes within the cannabis industry.
According to sources close to the situation, the worker had been attempting to collect her outstanding salary for several weeks without success. Frustrated by the delays and lack of communication, she decided to resign and demand immediate payment. However, instead of a resolution, the confrontation escalated into a verbal altercation.
“The owner kept giving excuses, saying the payment was coming, but nothing ever showed up,” the worker stated. “I finally had enough and decided to stand up for myself.”

Eyewitnesses reported that voices were raised as the owner defended the delay, citing financial struggles and operational issues. The dispute grew so intense that other staff members had to step in to de-escalate the situation. Customers inside the dispensary at the time expressed their discomfort, with one stating, “It was shocking to see. Employees should be paid for their work, and this should’ve been handled professionally.”
