Mustafabad, Pakistan — A Station House Officer (SHO) and Investigating Officer (IO) were suspended after they raided a late-night rave at a farmhouse, detaining several young participants — including the sons and daughters of senior army officers and PML leaders.
The raid followed complaints of loud music and drug use. Police reportedly found alcohol and narcotics at the scene and began legal action. SHO,
However, once the elite backgrounds of the detainees became known, the officers were swiftly suspended — allegedly under pressure from powerful figures.
The move has triggered public outrage, with critics accusing authorities of protecting the privileged and punishing law enforcers. Social media erupted with calls for justice and accountability, demanding the officers’ reinstatement and an inquiry into the incident.
So far, there has been no official comment from the military or PML leadership.
