A peaceful day of fishing turned into a terrifying ordeal when a man was bitten by a shark off the coast of Queensland. The victim, identified on social media as @manni_alam, was spending quality time on the water with his father when the unexpected encounter occurred.
The incident took place while the pair were enjoying what started as a calm and routine fishing trip. Details remain limited, but it’s understood that the shark struck without warning, biting Manni as he was handling gear near the edge of the boat.
According to early reports, Manni sustained injuries to his leg, but he and his father managed to remain composed and act swiftly. Experts advise taking precautions such as avoiding waters at dawn or dusk, not entering the water with open wounds, and being mindful of bait and fish scraps in the area.
