A dramatic scene unfolded at a toll plaza in Hapur, Uttar Pradesh, where a woman was caught on camera storming into a toll booth and physically assaulting a staff member. The shocking incident, which has since gone viral on social media, has sparked outrage and raised concerns over the safety of toll workers.
According to eyewitnesses, the altercation began when a vehicle approached the toll gate and was allegedly asked to pay the toll fee. The woman, believed to be a passenger in the car, got into a heated argument with the toll employee. Moments later, she exited the vehicle, marched into the booth, and began slapping the staff member repeatedly in front of stunned onlookers.
The video, widely circulated on platforms like ( Twitter ) and Instagram, shows the woman unleashing a barrage of slaps while shouting angrily, as the toll staff member attempts to shield himself and avoid confrontation.
Toll plaza officials have condemned the incident, calling it a “shameful act of aggression” and confirming that a complaint has been filed with the local police. “No one deserves to be treated this way while simply doing their job,” said a senior official from the toll management company. “We are cooperating fully with the authorities to ensure action is taken.”
As of now, police have launched an investigation and are trying to identify the woman involved. Preliminary reports suggest that the dispute may have been related to toll charges or an alleged delay at the gate.
